Setting up recording

This site uses the Flash player to record audio. In order to record, your computer must have a microphone, and you must give permission to the Flash player to access your computer's microphone.

If you see a permissions dialog that looks like this:

Click "Allow." Now you can record.

You can also set the Flash player to remember the "Allow" setting. To do that, right-click the recorder, so that you see the contextual menu that looks like this:

Click "Settings."

You will then see a dialog box that looks like this.

Click "Allow," and "Remember," then click "Close."

Now you are ready to record, and then next time you load the recorder, you will not see the permissions dialog box.
